I come from the southern part of England where the sun does shine quite often.

I used in another age to be a headteacher, first in Kampala, Uganda, and then, later in England. I covered all the age-groups at different times. I even did a class in a prison.

I have been married to Liz, my second wife, for nearly twenty years, and we have six children, and as many grandchildren to distract us.

I took early retirement some while ago, and earned money, teaching music, and that enabled me to start travelling seriously. I have now visited around 90 countries.

I have a photo hanging here, which I took in 1956. But the digital revolution is what rea\lly got me excited. My specialities are creative shots, wildlife, candid shots of people, and travel in the broadest sense.
