Update (July 2019): I had not been active on Flickr since 2009, but have begun posting some things again.
I put away my film cameras about 15 years ago and moved on to some digital models that I really liked. These days I mostly shoot with a Nikon D750 DSLR and a compact Fuji X100F... or an iPhone. But with the rise of digital, the great old mechanical film cameras have become very inexpensive in the used market. So I've recently resurrected a couple of oldies and bought a few great new/old classic cameras and have begun revisiting 35mm film photography, using Olympus OM 1 & 2 (1970s), Nikon F2, FM, and FE (1970s), and a very old (80+ years!) Leica IIIa rangefinder made in 1936. It's fun!... using great classic cameras, most of which I could only dream of owning when I was young.
I like the look and the slower process involved with film, along with the grain and small imperfections that crop up in film photography. Although these fine old cameras are now cheap, shooting film is not!... so I expect economics will help keep me mostly in the digital realm, while I experiment occasionally with film.
