I am retired but I am still a photographer who has worked in just about every discipline of photography around. As a professional photographer I used very large sheet film cameras, one of which was the size of a small room.

I was also a darkroom technician processing millions of rolls of film of other photographers and making custom prints. I worked several years as a wirephoto operator for the Associated Press and transmitted images all over the world and special transmissions of the Vietnam war.

I also performed as a crime scene photographer with the Los Angeles Police Department Scientific Investigations Division.

Currently retired I reflect on the years years of a professional photographer’s life and revisiting the images of the past 40 plus years from film to digital and the reappreciation that it was the most rewarding experience of my life.
