I retired from NIH funded "behavioral research" institute in July of 2005. Over several years I was privileged to work with 6 of the "funded" research groups. The focus for one 20 year study was to examine the impact of both heredity and family dynamics on nicotine abuse and addiction.

Since retiring I spend my time DOING art and photography, writing poetry, gardening, collecting and listening to creative music, reading, hiking, AND worrying about our (humans) mindless plundering of the astonishing ecosystems all over the planet earth. We are both over populated and unwise.

About the Images. There are a few album covers that I've scanned at the request of some people on file sharing music blogs. I'll try to keep them at the end of the "Art . . ." set. Everything else is either my photography, my painting or my drawing and sketching. Sometimes I combine or enhance the work with the computer BUT ALL elements (with the exception of the Japanese pottery photos - also at the end of the "Art" set) are from my own original work.

I hope you enjoy looking... I certainly do invite comments... C'mon folks, I'd love some comments.
