Hello.

I've had a passing interest in photography for many years, but it is only in the last eleven years that I have developed it as a hobby.

The main purpose of my Flickr page is to

1. Showcase the beautiful County of Waterford (where I live with my wife and family), as it is one of the most beautiful counties in Ireland, and is, in my opinion, grossly undersold and marketed.

2. Create a record (as much as possible) of all the Roman Catholic churches and cathedrals across County Waterford. Sadly, with the drop in vocations and Mass attendances, many of these may disappear in the coming years. So it is all the more important to maintain a record of sorts.

The photos are taken mainly with a Canon Eos 450D, Canon Eos 70D, and a Canon Eos 6D, with a small amount of earlier ones (up to 2008) taken with a Fuji S5000. There are also some taken with an iPhone 6S+. I have used a selection of lenses, as can be seen in the EXIF data. Current lenses (May 2019) are Canon 24-70 f/4L, Canon 70-300, and Canon 50mm f/1.8.
