On my earlier days in flickr, I impulsively wanted to show people my photographs. And naturally no one seemed to be impressed with my banal works. I still clearly remember the moment when someone having a nick "Karachi boy" commented with great kindness on one of my photographs, and I was super thrilled. Without thinking twice I sent him a Flickr-mail thanking him. To my utter surprise, that unknown "Karachi boy", whom I've never met, replied right back with more friendliness. And we kept exchanging mails. I don't even remember when I started feeling like having friend, mentor, well wisher for life time. I was just another immature, naive one (still am though) nagging him with all my day to to day problems. And this man having a heart soaked in all the kindness and love of universe, always stood their for me, as a brother, as a guide. At the end of the day, I really don't know what I've gained from flickr in terms of photographic knowledge, but I'll always cherish the memories of having such beloved brother from far far away. To me, flickr is not just photo sharing blog, it has made it possible for me to meet with some kindest and modest people on earth. I still don't know much about photography, but knowing someone so kind & adorable has obviously enriched my experience in life. We may not ever meet in real, but, you are and will always be my Jules bhai, I always will have love for you, Bhai :D

He is a great photographer who loves to take candid shots and people in action, and he is expert in that also he has a very nice personality, which attracts the newbies and amateurs like me. "Jules" - I only know his name last year 2008, somewhere in November before he took his trip to Egypt. Jules has been commenting on my photos way back when I used to work in Pakistan. Most of his earlier comments relate with his stock market. When I tried to visit his photostream, Jules did not have any collection of photos then. Deep down inside, I know that Jules will have something soon because the way he wrote the comments were full of essence. I was very happy to see some of Jules collection of photo somewhere in September last year( 2008). As written in his profile that he is very ' amature in the art of photography' is totally untrue. His capture which ranges from travelling to street live, night shots, macro, landscape....reveals his capabaility of capturing subjects professionally. And he chooses his subjects very carefully.My favourite is Jules' collection during his Egypt trip. Jules' skill in the art of photography is getting better and better each time I view his photostream. There is always a surprise in his capture everytime he uploaded a new photo. It maybe the capture, the captions, the story behind .....but there is always something special in each capture. For Jules : I am so happy to have a good friend like you on flickr. Keep on clicking the camera because every click is a magic from you!
