I've been messing about with digital cameras for a few years now, nothing very serious, holiday snaps, birthdays, etc. After breaking my Kodak Z612 Zoom while sailing on the Clyde in August 2009 (it bounced onto the deck & rolled around a bit when we were tacking, yes not very clever), I went out a bought a Panasonic Lumix FZ38.

I'm now really enjoying getting out and about and snapping away with my new camera and having fun learning to take better photographs. Flickr is full of amazing photographs and wonderful people and it has definitely inspired me to go out and take pictures.
