I have a small business creating ceramic beads, pendants and jewelry. I enjoy the "what if" aspects of working in clay and ceramics. The unkown element of what happens to the glaze when it's exposed to the high heat of the kiln. I never get tired of trying new glaze combinations and different shapes and textures in the clay.
I also work full time in the pharmacy industry.
I've loved all kinds of art and crafts since childhood. My mom taught me how to sew when I was 5. I have a BS in textiles and clothing from OSU.
I also love to read, garden, and I love all kinds of animals. I have 2 dogs.
I sell my work online at www.shaterraclaystudio.com & at www.shaterra.etsy.com
