Just to say right off the bat. I'm well over 21 years of age.

I love photography. I was into 35mm back in the 80's and 90's but never seemed to get very good at it. I didn't take any pictures for over 15 years. Then, in June of 2007 I purchased a $89.00 point and shoot digital camera. I was hooked again.

On Feb. 7th 2008 I took the "leap". I purchased a new Olympus DSLR. I look forward to learning from people here, and getting "pointers" from all.

Maybe I can get a lot better than back in my 35mm days, since I now have a "support" group! :o)

I grew up in Southern Virginia, but have lived and worked in North Carolina, Texas, and Missouri. After living away for almost 20 years I'm finally back home in Virginia. I now have retired to North Carolina. I loved my time in Texas and Missouri, and try to visit as often as I can.

I have met a lot of really cool people here on flickr, and hope to meet more.

I do a lot of "freelance" photography and I'm more than willing to do work for my flickr friends.

I do travel and am open to any request.
