Railway enthusiast and volunteer in the locomotive department at Keighley and Worth Valley Railway UK. I've been a railway enthusiast all my life (except when an interest in girls subsumed everything) and I blame it on my father who was a closet enthusiast and frequently took me to see the Golden Arrow, hauled by blue liveried unrebuilt Merchant Navies in the 1950s.

Also interested in wildlife, outdoor activities, travel and photography.

My wife and I are very much into Spain and all things Spanish including the railways, an enthusiasm that has developed over the years

Have used a wide variety of cameras but currently use mainly a Nikon D7200, a Lumix DZ 1000 (and an iPhone!) though with advancing years the carrying around of heavy kit such as the Nikon and associated lenses has become less attractive. The iPhone takes amazingly good pictures.

I currently live in North West Leeds, above the Aire Valley, handy for the S&C etc.
