My primary camera's zoom has been failing unpredictably for months, costing me countless shots of the wildlife I document here and on iNaturalist (over 5,100 species and 44,800+ observations recorded, ranked 169th in the US and 256th worldwide). A friend is helping me run a GoFundMe to replace it: gofund.me/c2642b23a. Any support, or just sharing it, would mean a lot.

I'm a wildlife photographer and naturalist currently based in Florida, with years of hands-on field experience documenting local plants and animals on iNaturalist, where I happen to be an Ambassador. I currently rank first out of nearly 10,000 observers worldwide for Painted Bunting observations on the platform. My focus is on native pollinator habitat, backyard birding, placing perches for birds, and sharing what I observe in the field — from bald eagles to hummingbirds, and all kings of other fauna and flora. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
