Public health is my field -- especially monitoring and evaluation. I have lived and worked overseas for years, taking limited photos with various SLR cameras. The digital world has changed my outlook on photos (so easy and inexpensive), and Flickr offers a place to post them and to learn from so many talented others. I'm still trying to get good basic photos of our black flat-coated retrievers.

In choosing groups, I try to find ones that provide thoughtful comments, and I appreciate members who take their precious time to offer them.
