Started playing with photography in the late 1960's with a TOTALLY analog, non-automated Honeywell Pentax SLR. First flash photography involved bulbs and manual calculations of F stops.
Have used Nikon, Canon and amazingly back to Pentax equipment primarily because of investment in Pentax and Pentax-compatible glass and accessories.
In 2010, moved up to the Nikon D700/Nikkor glass and strobes.
Still shoot with Canon G9 on occasion. Very big proponent of printing as well as simply creating files. Currently using an Epson Stylus PRO 3800 printer.
Favorite photography is travel. Biggest challenge is to get away from postcard photography. I appreciate good criticism much more than nice praise of my photographs and just about everything else.
