Hello everyone. Thank you for taking the time to look at my photos. I hope you enjoy them.

I grew up just north of San Francisco, California and fooled around with film cameras from an early age, though photography never really hooked me. I have been living in Nairobi, Kenya since July 2004 when I came here to do architectural consulting work for the United Nations. In order to record the experiences in my new home, I purchased my first digital camera just before coming to Kenya. I very soon realized that it was insufficient to capture the beauty of this country and decided to buy a "real" camera. I still have the P&S in my car at all times, just in case.

I found Flickr through my friend Kalabird , and both she and this website helped me decide on what to buy.

My present kit includes:

I am relatively new to photography and am constantly learning. Any and all constructive criticism and/or advice that can be offered is welcome and appreciated. I have met many friends here who have helped me enormously and am grateful for their wisdom and encouragement.
