I'm from Western NYS. I'm a regular contributor to Icanhascheezburger.com. I went to school for photography twice, but never entered the field professionally. I used to have a darkroom, but gave that up when I sold my house. I'm currently adjusting to the digital revolution,and own a Canon A630 digital camera. I still have my Pentax Super Program and my Ricoh (both 35mm cameras). I also have just acquired a Nikon Coolpix L100, which I am just getting to know-I like it.

Newest aquisition is a Pentax K20D digital SLR. I have missed manual focus a lot since having the digital ones-sometimes they just don't know what to focus on. So now I have lots of options.

I now have four Photo-manipulation programs on my computer-Arcsoft PhotoImpressions 6 (which came with my slide/negative converter), Gimp 2.6 (free on the Internet) , Corel Paint Shop Pro X2, and Adobe Photoshop Elements (also bundled with hardware). Love those bundled softwares!
