I was born in 1964 in Ahmedabad, India to French and American parents and was raised in France. When I moved from Paris to New York in 1996 I was working on a series of interiors of a house in the center of France (called Changy), which sought to document the relation between art and the places of its making. Following my 1998 participation in World Views, a residency in the World Trade Center, my focus shifted to abstracted landscapes that sought to explore the viewer's sense of place.

I am currently following an Art/Science thread as artist in residence at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, and am currently represented by Reeves Contemporary Gallery in New York, Spheris Gallery in New Hampshire, and Kasten Fine Arts in Great Barrington, Mass.
