I've been taking photographs ever since I was given my first camera, a Brownie box, for my ninth birthday. I now use a Nikon D5300 which is just about light enough to take on walks and when travelling. Sometimes I use a little compact which slips neatly into my handbag but I'm not fond of the screens: I like a viewfinder (and now have a compact Sony with EVF).

I like to photograph whatever catches my eye (which can be people, places, things, light on a tree, whatever).
