I'm updating my flickr profile. I've been with flickr since 2008, I'm now 71 soon be 72. I retired from a plastics company in 2009. Been a Nikon shooter since 1989, first film now digital. These days, I shoot an assortment of body's D610 D7100 D3300 and a D2X. Lenses are all Nikon.

Outside of photography, I enjoy studying and reading about America's Civil War. American history in general. I've been married almost 50 years, we have one son, no grandchildren.

I spent 4 years in U S Air Force, from 1964-1968, stationed in West Germany for 3 years at Sembach Air Base. As a Air Policeman. Then served at Kingsley Field, Oregon, till my discharge, in October 1968.

I'm not as active as I once was, some health issues, I don't get around very well, sometimes walking with a cane.

Photography is still a great passion for me, I follow a few people here on flickr, and enjoy their photos.

I have done a lot of our local zoo, but not so much these days, hard to navigate those hills at the zoo.

my attention is turning more to simple street photos.

A slight update? 2023, will start my 6th season at local zoo as a tram driver, doing tours and speaches about animals.

Health? well turning 77, still some issues, but keep going. Wife and I married 54 yrs next month March 2023.

I'm still "clicking" a shutter button, still just DSLRs, no "Zs" in my future, have a D8ooE, quite happy with my gear.

Have since sold D800E, but aquired a D800 very low shutter count. Now 78, health issues keep me home more often than getting out doors.
