The Work of the Saints Apostolate, composed mainly of young people with diverse backgrounds from the Philippines, aims to help in the New Evangelization in our country by involving everyone especially the youth in the promotion of the “UNIVERSAL CALL TO HOLINESS” through the Gospel and the lives of the Saints: not only by giving talks, retreats and apologetics through new media (Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, etc.) but particularly with a special ministry of Touring of their Holy Relics and Precious Remains in different places and through various themes. It is through these tangible signs of the Faith that we try to reach out to our fellowmen in their trials and daily encounters – to show that HOLINESS IS POSSIBLE FOR EVERYONE and that saints are real like us made up of flesh and bones – not fairytales or statues.

Our intention is to give a singular opportunity for our countrymen both young and old to come in contact with these tangible sacred mementos of the Life of Our Lord and of the great cloud of witnesses (the saints) whom we can look up to throughout the centuries. Re-echoing what the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, wrote for the opening of this Year of Faith, in his Motu Proprio – Porta Fidei:

“13. One thing that will be of decisive importance in this Year is retracing the history of our faith, marked as it is by the unfathomable mystery of the interweaving of holiness and sin. While the former highlights the great contribution that men and women have made to the growth and development of the community through the witness of their lives, the latter must provoke in each person a sincere and continuing work of conversion in order to experience the mercy of the Father which is held out to everyone.” – Pope Benedict XVI (11 October 2011)
