I am an artist who teaches art. I live and work in a very small prairie town in Canada. I teach private after school art classes in my home, and am often invited to teach classes in the school and surrounding schools (some of these are Hutterite colony schools). All of the art work on this site is made by my students, ages 6 to 15. I believe all children are artist, but i do not think we should just let them find their own way (afraid of stomping on creativity). I try to give the students the tools and knowledge while encouraging creativity.
