I enjoy snapping photos of funky signs and weird bits of kitschy folklore and mailboxes, not to mention open land, sunflowers, sunsets and pastoral scenes from small town life. My main purpose in taking photos is so I can write about them. Most of my photos are Creative Commons licensed, and as long as I get attribution, feel free to borrow them. Unlike most folks on Flickr, I'm easy-going about my photos but more restrictive about my writing. Nothing written by me may be borrowed or reproduced without my permission. Short, accurate quotes are fine. For anything else, please check with me first.
I occasionally write about my photos on Flickr, but more often than not I save the essays for my blog, www.pablonerudasworld.com. I also enjoy writing about subjects related to other folks' creative commons photos.
Photography is very definitely a hobby, whereas writing is my life's work and great love.
I own two horses (a Canadian Cheval and a Spanish Arab) and a Shetland pony, all of whom are favorite photo subjects. I am an endurance rider and have competed in 25 and 50 mile races. Other members of the family include a Nubian goat, a miniature Daschund, a Golden Retriever and an old and surly black and white cat of indeterminate breed. I live in Vermont, The Green Mountain State with my husband and son.
