Hi & welcome to my humble yet productive life in pictures!

I'm a busy, single mother that still seeks the holy grail of adequate time management! :-)

My family consists of my nine year old son, a few fish, one canine, and one feline. Our dog with the typical unconditional love & the cat who tolerates us!

I run a thriving daycare which allows me the opportunity to be at home after many years of office work and now mold & shape young minds. I am blessed to have extra time to enjoy my son & many spare minutes in between to work on my mosaics. I enjoy creating mosaics mirrors using recycled building products. The thrill of being able to repurpose as many useful item to avoid the landfills is a genuine passion. The 'frames' are all old kitchen cupboard doors that are generally either on their way to either Habitat or straight to the dump (yikes). My rescue of them from a fatal end is my small contribution to art as well as teaching my son to recycle! I've been fashioning them since about the summer of 2005 (who can keep track!).

Prior to that I have taken on many quilting projects. I had the most fabulous, generously creative teacher & mentor - my Grandmother (I'll get around to up-loading those pix some day). I believe that is where the beginning of my love for color & texture began with all the glorious patterns and prints of fabric.

We make our home in Saskatoon, SK, Canada. I have also lived in BC & Alberta, traveled through out Canada and vacationed to many tropical destinations. In past years I have visited Stockholm, Sweden & lived in Tokyo, Japan. (Again, SOME day pix will be posted - see time management problem top of page!) :-)

We live for summer, camping, gardening, craft shows & festivals, many & any outdoor activities.

I'm crazy about yard sales, antique store & love to haunt the thrift shops for all things breakable & lovely for mosaics.

Thank you for visiting.

New friends, new ideas, new creations are a true gift!

Cheers! ~Angie~
