I am based in the beautiful Catskill Mountains of New York State, USA. From an early age, I wanted to convey a sense of the intense emotions and wonder that I felt while exploring out in nature. Photography was the natural medium. Photography also enhances the experience of nature on the spot, because it forces me to slow down and observe, to completely shut out all other thoughts, and for an all-too-short time, actually live fully immersed in the moment. For that reason alone, I will always have a camera with me.
