I'm an amateur blacksmith working hard to become a professional. The personal style I am trying to evolve in my ironwork is a fusion of French Gothic and Art Nouveau; however, I've become interested of late in making reproductions of Scandanavian-influenced early English ironwork. I also have a bit of an obsession with locks, and am now teaching myself engraving to better emulate the work of past masters. I'm a member of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) and proud apprentice of House Firedryk. Oh, yes, and I really, really, really want to tour Europe. I'm married, with two dopey dogs and three cats. I am also considering taking up art photography again, after a long hiatus.
