I have been taking pictures with various digital cameras for many years. In the past, as a "roving reporter" for a small newspaper, I also had to take pictures professionally, develop and enlarge them myself in the darkroom. After a break, it wasn't until digital SLR photography was reasonably mature that I rediscovered photography as a hobby, first with a Pentax K10 and the great Limited lenses, then with various other systems. I once had a Canon 5D, a Sony Alpha, ended up with Fuji. But it was Leica that really fascinated me, from the M8 to the M9, M240, M10, M11, Q and Q2, I tried them all. In the moment I shoot with a Sony System.

Here at flickr I show photos from time to time, which were taken sometime in the last 20 years. Often I just reprocess images after many years, part of this hobby.... :)

Ich fotografiere seit vielen Jahren mit verschiedenen digitalen Kameras. Früher musste ich als "rasender Reporter" für eine kleine Zeitung auch beruflich Bilder machen, selbst in der Dunkelkammer entwickeln und vergrößern. Nach einer Pause habe ich erst, als die digitale Spiegelreflex-Fotografie einigermaßen ausgereift war, die Fotografie als Hobby wiederentdeckt, zunächst mit einer Pentax K10 und den tollen Limited-Objektiven, dann mit diversen anderen Systemen. Ich hatte mal eine Canon 5D, eine Sony Alpha, landete bei Fuji. Richtig fasziniert hat mich aber erst Leica, von der M8 über die M9, M240, M10, M11, Q und Q2 habe ich sie alle mal ausprobiert. Derzeit bin ich mit einem Sony-System unterwegs.

Hier bei flickr zeige ich ab und zu Fotos, die irgendwann in den letzten 20 Jahren entstanden sind. Oft bearbeite ich Bilder nach vielen Jahren einfach noch einmal neu, ein Teil dieses Hobbys... :)
