I enjoy cycling and travelling and preferably both together is ideal. What links these passions is photography - taking great pictures of wonderful locations you only find on a bike !

So Summer is travel & cycling and photography keens me sane through the winter months when cycling isn't possible - it's my time to process all the shots I took through the summer.

My kit is quite basic at the moment with a Nikon D60 as well as my trusty Fuji Finepix F70 compact which is ideal for carrying whilst cycling and delivers some excellent results.

I am also interested in golf for sporting competitveness as I am past my best at my first passion which was football - i still get my fix though as a newcastle united season ticket holder.

I like astronomy and one of my intentions is to develop my astrophotography skills including long exposures and time lapse work...... watch this space.
