I started photography in 1960! I've been studying and applying the information for that long. Landscape photography is my passion. But, I shoot what I think is beautiful by habit.

I view the photograph as recorded history, so I never pose of setup shots, except of people. I always try to recreate the beauty of what I saw in that moment.

Over the years I've viewed thousands and thousands of amateur and professional photographs in an effort to learn from others. I'm also a compulsive reader of photography books. I never read less than a dozen a year.

I print my own photos, with an Epson K3 ink set printer. I love my inkjet and never send photos out to be printed.
