Graphic Designer living and working in Stockport. Enjoys running (marathons full and half, on/off road), mountain walking (Kilimanjaro), rock climbing, curry, red wine, design, photography and photoshop.
My first SLR was a Nikon F-401. I used it for art college when I was studying Graphic Design and Photography. A few years back I bought the Fuji S7000. I was hooked on digital photography! I now have a D80, D300 and D500 with my old AF 50mm 1.8, Sigma 17-70mm, 10-20mm, Nikon 35mm DX 1.8, Nikon 17-55mm 2.8, Nikon 105mm 2.8 VR Macro, 70-200VR I 2.8 and a Nikon 70-300mm VR. I also have two SB800s and Manfrotto tripod (which is very heavy but great for HDR work).
In 2013 I bought a Fuji E-X1 for the Everest Trek and Marathon. I needed something that was compact so I could run the marathon with in my back pack The electronic view finder took some getting used to, but I very impressed with the quality of the camera and lens.
I have lots to learn and Flickr is a great place to get inspiration.
