I am a public school teacher by trade who is very interested in photography as a growing hobby. I am interested in learning more about maternity, infant, and child photography. I am especially interested in maternity and newborn photography currently since I am hoping to use my newly discovered newborn photography ideas on my nephew, who is due late this summer. I am hoping to have a 2nd child of my own someday to photograph as well! It is hard to photograph myself with my own family, but I try!

Now if only I could understand everything about lighting! ha! I have a Nikon D50 dslr and a sb-600 flash. I love natural light photography and am trying to teach myself how to shoot with my camera in manual mode.

I't's difficult to find time to learn all of this after working full-time as a teacher, parent, wife, etc. However, I do love photography and want to learn as much as possible. I am really enjoying learning all about how to use my PSE 6.0 editing program as well as actions for PSE.
