My name is David and I live in the suburbs of Washington DC. I have enjoyed photography on and off over the years when I could give it the proper focus between kids and other life's work. I primarily enjoy analog photography because it is what I am most familiar with. Furthermore, being in the Cartographic field, and viewing flashing images on my monitor, consisting of aerial photos and maps, I desire something with a slower pace outside of work. I enjoy documenting life around me and I try and improve through repetition and learning from the fellow hobbyists and professionals alike on Flickr and elsewhere. I have found Flickr to be a great platform to display photos I have taken and to safeguard my memories.
