Through the view finder I can see the world;

the man in the truck, the dog in the yard,

the wall, the paint,

your eyes,

the coffee, the piano,

your car, my cat,

the shadows, the patterns,

your hands, my shoes,

the colors, the lines, the contrast,

the sun, the clouds, the park.

I can see everything, past your misrepresentations.

Everything is true and pure and right through the viewfinder.

Nothing can hide from me.

When the shutter clicks, I've got it.

I'll capture that time, that atmosphere, that moment of life.

I'll travel the world with my camera, my partner in crime;

capturing life and trapping it forever.
