In Douglas Coupland's first novel Generation X, one of the characters begs the question "after you're dead and buried and floating around whatever place we go to, what's going to be your best memory of earth? What's one moment for you defines what it's like to be alive on this planet. What's your takeaway...some small moment that proves you're really alive?"

After some consideration, and with some shots from an overanxious novice with a new Nikon D40, hopefully I can sort out something. Or maybe just take it all. And I realize, that's what snapshots are all about.

Thanks for stopping and checking it out. -WM
