My first camera was a red Konica Pop. I got my first SLR a Nikon FG-20 when I was 15, Later I took Photography classes and used it a lot. It went sailing, horseback riding in the Swedish mountains, photographing winter sports in -25 degrees Celsius with me, it went with me on expeditions to places where I wasn't supposed to be and it never failed me. I still have it, and I still use it now and then. It might sound strange but that camera still sets the basic standards for what I look for in a camera. When I was about 20 I bought my first camera with a motor and AF a Pentax MZ 50, I liked it and I used it a lot but it wasn't the same as the old Nikon, I gave it to my SO who took it on a 3 week tour through the Sahara desert, and it still works fine. I bought me a Minolta 505si and thought I traded up but I didn't... 2003 I bought a little point & shoot digital camera a Konika Minolta Dimage X20, which I had a lot of fun with, it sadly gave up the ghost after 4 years. The summer 2006 I bought my Nikon D70s and I finally get that feeling I had with my first Nikon we are synced. :-)
In June 2014 I bought a Nikon D7100, so far I'm happy with it.
