Somehow, mysteriously, I bumped into Inez’ photostream six months ago. It grabbed me right away and hasn’t let go. I visit her photostream frequently and I breathlessly await the posting of her next creation. I love the way she observes what’s around her, cooks it into something unexpected, then serves it up hot and inviting. So many of her images are full of raw energy, twisted colors, amazing shadows, and disorienting angles. There is a transcendent insanity, innocence AND sly sophistication in her work. Her images can seem iconic, enigmatic and eclectic…while simultaneously bumping up against an ironic title. Be sure to read her titles. Yes, indeed. Nearly always, they add a significant dimension to the images. Obviously, she is an astute visual artist who cares a lot about words. I highly recommend you give her photostream a gander.
