Not a lot to say about me. Ive been interested in Photography since school, but have been taking it more seriously as a hobby for the last two years, as it is the only creative artform I seem capable of!. I bought a Fuji 9500 digital camera then and have just replaced it with a Canon EOS 400D SLR. I also use a fuji compact digital camera for situations were the DSLR might be to bulky or inconvenient (ie events where alcohol is involved!).

I,ve not given up on film though and have just bought a bargain Olympus OM1 on e bay that should be a nice collectors item & should also take pictures without the aid of batteries!

My favourite subjects are landscapes - natural or urban -although I quite like abstract images & also take typical "families & friends" photos.

Favourite photographers include Ansell Adams & Joe Cornish.

I live & work in Southend-on Sea, Essex, Uk, & my ambition as a photographer would be to take pictures of my home that convince people that this much maligned area of England is actually a pleasant place to live
