Our family came to Canada in 1953 when dad joined the Canadian Navy after serving in the British Navy during WWII. We have lived on both coasts, and over the course of my more than 4 decades in Canada, I have travelled every mile of the TransCanada highway. What a beautiful country we live in. Our trips across it when I was growing up gave me a real taste for travel which I still enjoy today.
