I suppose I've always appreciated and been interested in photography but didn't really get into taking photos myself until 2005. At the time I worked for English Heritage, managing volunteer photographers for the 'Images of England' archive project and then started to take photos for the project myself. This was using film cameras but it wasn't long before I plunged into digital and bought my trusty Canon 350D which is still going strong but is looking a bit dated now!

I love social documentary and urban/street photography but try not to restrict myself to any subject.
