I'm an amateur photographer based in Brasília, Brazil. I take photos of wild nature and most of my photos come from the Cerrado, a rich and diverse savanna I love exploring. I simply enjoy being outdoors, observing nature, and sharing what I find along the way.

You’ll find here mostly birds, nature, and quiet moments that caught my attention. And every photo has a story, even if it’s not written in the caption.

Many of the photographs here are the result of quite a bit of effort — traveling to remote places, spending hours in the field, dealing with difficult light and elusive subjects, and then going through the equally time-consuming process of sorting, identifying, editing and organizing everything afterwards. The final photograph may look simple, but there is often a much longer story behind it.

I don't post my photos primarily for recognition or numbers of views and likes. Of course, a like is always appreciated! But what matters most to me is documenting and sharing the wildlife I encounter.

I also prefer to keep my photographs as faithful as possible to what I actually saw in the field. I don't usually remove branches, leaves or other elements from the scene, or make major alterations to the image. For me, the surroundings are part of the observation. I like the photograph to show not only the animal, but also the place and circumstances in which I encountered it — the scene as it really was at that moment.

I also try to keep my photos useful as records. All of my photographs here are geotagged. I like the idea that, besides being photographs, they can also serve as small records of where particular species were observed.

In that sense, I see this collection as a personal photographic archive, but also as a modest contribution to the documentation of the wildlife I have been fortunate enough to encounter.
