"REDKNEE" is thecommon name of the tarantula Brachypelma Smithi, that habits in Mexico.

I have strong facination about the mexican tarantulas, now endangered species.

ABOUT ME:

My first camera was a kodak if I remember well It was given to me at the age of 8. I used it for a while but due to the expenses of developing the films I loss interest but gained interest in paintings and drawings. I remember spent all my elementary school and secondary school painting and drawing instead of reading books during class.

 

It was until the first year of high school during 1991 that I took my first photography course and I realized the joy and how happy I was developing w&b films. since then I feel empty if I do not take pictures it is to be like a singer without voice or even worst not to be able to express my self.

 

I prefer to be an artist using cameras with the elements of the streets, parks, rivers, mountains and all the nature mother gives me including the sun. I like to use natural light and blend it with strobes.

 

P.S. I am moving to Medium Format mostly, that is why I began to sale all my digital stuff.

more about me:

I have a Marketing degree then I got a Law degree in 1997, after that I went to the University of Illinois were I got a Master of Laws degree aka LLM in 2003. In 2004 I went to Switzerland where I spent a few months in Bern and Geneve studying International Trades and WTO dispute Settlement, during that trip I took my Canon rebel 300d camera coupled with the 18-55mm lens, that trip changed my life and make me decided to be a photographer.

 

After my return I spent hours in nursing homes for elder people taking portraits.

 

Nowadays I am a tax litigation lawyer while I enjoy taking portraits doing wedding photography and comercial photography. I am still waiting for the day I will be a full time artist-photographer, I hope very soon.
