I love light, and how it can define things. How something looks completely new with a passing cloud overhead. The way the light slants in the woods on fall evenings.

I have recently upgraded from a cannon rebel xs film camera to a digital rebel xt. I really love not having to pay for my pictures any more. I shoot either the lens that came with the rebel xs film camera in 1997, a 35-80mm, or a cannon 70-300 that I bought a couple of years ago. I've lived in different parts of the world and call Vermont home.

As a general rule I do not alter my pictures in photoshop, or similar programs. I do crop them, sometimes quite a bit. When I do alter or tweak them it's often just saturation and gamma for which I use Irfanview.
