Photography for me is therapy, appreciating the world we live in. Started in film with a Kodak Duaflex box camera then my father's Leica I, then a Petri V6 in New Orleans, a series of Canons, mostly AE-1 and Pellix, and an Asahi Pentax 6x7 in Miami. Then in Washington DC area the world and I switched to digital - Canon Rebel 1st model, Pentax K10, Pentax K20, Canon 5DMkII and Canon 5dMkIII. The tool does not make the artist - though in my case these progressively advanced cameras got me out of trouble more and let me learn more.
Artists I have followed - sources of inspiration - are all of the National Geographic staff, great amateurs in the various clubs who advised me continuously, Clyde Butcher - and you all as I learn from your postings. Thank you...
