Munawar Ali Syed contemporary visual Artist from Pakistan born 1975 Hyderabad and after his BFA degree from National Collage of Arts, Lahore now He currently lives and works in Karachi where he teaches at the Indus Valley School and Karachi University VS department. He has been an active member of VASL artist collective. Along with several national and international groups shows Munawar has had four solo shows. He has also participated in ‘Burragorang International Artists’ Workshop’, Australia (2003) the ‘VASL Workshop’, Pakistan (2004) ,’ Braziers artist workshop’, UK and ‘Silbury Residency’, UK (2005). He was also part of exhibition The Rising Tide and Sind Art fest-14.
