mid sixties, and feeling it, happy, no time to be bored, pursuing my hobbies of photography, writing poetry about anything and everything, pen & ink pontillism ,when I am in the mood.Hindered by arthitic knees so cant go out in the wild to take pictures any more.Find that frustrating.Thankful that I have thousands of negatives from past treks to call on and have fun scanning.Married happily for 42 years.Like to be around to enjoy another 42.Did I say I was retired.
Update. Since I wrote this original version, I have had two total knee replacements and can now pursue my photography as and when I feel inclined. Walking is no longer a hindrance and stairs present no difficulty, so can go on trips to favourite old haunts and investigate new places of interest.
Of late I have purchased my fourth camera. This one a second Fuji one. Older model was a Fuji Finepix A900.A very nice compact little tool which fits in a pocket. My newest one, that I purchased is a Fujifilm HS30 EXR. I am still figuring out all the amazing things that this camera does. My other older cameras were both Canon Eos ones with various lens to suit.Frustrated with the cost of having them cleaned, I mentioned to my husband that wouldn't it be great if someone invented a camera with one fixed lens that could do wide angle and yet still cover some distance. This Hs30EXR does that, from 24mm out to 720mm. I am impressed. And yes I still use all my cameras, constantly. When the weather is too cold for outings, my garden suffices well, as I feed wild birds all winter.
Update. No longer hindered by arthritic knees, have been fortunate enough to have two knee replacements in the last five years so things are feeling pretty much like they used to years ago. These knees are made for walking and for that I am exceedingly grateful.
