I'm a +28-year veteran of the railroad industry (as of Sept, 2021) and have been a fan since I was almost 4 years old (when we moved into a house by the Soo Line in New Brighton, MN). I've worked for 6 railroads over my career and have done everything from pulling pins and pulling throttle to turning wrenches and pounding spikes.

Although the railroad is no longer front and center in the things I am passionate about, the photos I share here recall another time in my life when I lived, ate and breathed anything railroad. The Soo Line, Wisconsin Central and Chicago and NorthWestern will always be my favorites.
