Now (2015) I have three cameras:

the good "old" (from 2005) Konica Minolta Z3

with a 5.3 - 69.9 mm, which is equivalent to 35 - 420 mm; f/2.8 (wide) / f/4.5 (tele)

 

the "not so new" (from 2008) Sony alpha DSLR-A700

 

with a lens SAL-18250 18-250 mm F/3,5 - 6,3 (27-375 mm on 35mm)

  

and the newest (2009) Nikon D90

 

with a AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105 mm (f/3,5-5,6)

and now (2015) with a Nikkor 55-300 mm (f/4.5-5.6)

 

For my summer trips I usually take the Konika Minolta.
