I have been commenting on Tanya's photos for about 6 months. What I love most about her work is her drive to improve her skills in all facets of photography. She is experimental and shoots work that is unique. For those of you who have seen her black and white pool series or her shots directly into the sun will know what I am talking about. She has the ability to capture moments in a completely different light, composition and focus. What this means to me, is her work is thought provoking. You can spend time looking at what she has done and see creativity and a unique sense of perspective. Tanya posts photos that are out of her comfort zone and waits to see what we all think, in today's' "Flickr Popularity Contest" that is very brave and shows completely that she wants to learn and improve her technique. As a person, Tanya someone who is as genuine as it gets, I value her friendship and her comments and I love discussing photography with her. Cheers Mate!

I have known Tanya for quite a while now and probably should have written this testimonial ages ago! Better late than never!! I love Tanya's work. When you look at the photos she takes of her gorgeous girls, you can totally see that they are her life, her everything. Her nature shots are always beautiful and perfectly processed too. Two things I especially love about Tanya are her wit (you are so funny at times Tanya!!) and her generosity - she always has something nice to say about my pictures and is always willing to lend a helping hand. You're an inspiration Tanya and I'm so glad that we are friends:))

Tanya has quickly become one of my Flickr friends. Although the Atlantic may seperate us we are like-minded in our approach. I'm always keen to see what project shes working on. Tanya has an amazing quality to her photography. She always gets great results and her attention to both 'light' and her 'subject' is evident. Her portraits of children always look so full of 'life' and engaged. Tanya is supportive in her comments to others and works towards her craft with every new post....I love watching indiviuals grow as the artist in them flouishes through what they do......Tanya is one to watch.

What to say about Tanya...first off she is a wonderful friend. I could not have asked for a better person to call my friend! Watching her newly discovered talent has been incredible. I cannot believe how quickly she has taken to this world of photography. I have always had a love for it and now to be able to share it with her is an awesome gift! Do I feel jealous that she has surpassed me in such a short amount of time? Not at all, I am SO HAPPY for her and I just know God has put this passion in her heart and He will make it work for their family. I cannot wait to see where He takes her with it!
