I'm an artist. My art consists of both figurative and abstract work where the line between the two is not always clear-cut.

I was born in 1969 and raised in London, England by my Spanish mother and French father of Russian Jewish ancestry. This multicultural background has coloured my work.

Ideas can come from anywhere and I have a wide ranging practice – painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and performance but my art is ultimately a visual expression of emotion - often, but not always, my own. Politics, religion, pop culture and something of the “nature of man” are important issues to me. Thematically I'd like to think that the following ideas run through my work:

Raised as a Roman Catholic (though non-practicing theses days) I am also aware of the concept of transubstantiation and the idea that art is more than just a picture or the item first seen. My use of titles is often conceptual, allowing me to transform my art and explore what is hopefully a bigger idea or narrative.
