In everyday life, I work as an engineer, designer and company CEO — a world full of decisions, meetings and constant communication. Photography is the opposite. Looking through a lens makes me slow down and see the world with different eyes.

Sometimes words simply become exhausting, and telling a story through a photograph becomes my way of stepping away from everyday reality.

One of my professors once told me that a picture is worth a thousand words. The older I get, the more I believe she was absolutely right.

I only wish there were a few more hours in the day for photography.
