Thank you for stopping by and viewing my photos — I truly hope they speak to you. Not long after joining Flickr, one of my images was featured in Explore, something I’m genuinely proud of.

Having two of my images featured in Flickr Explore is something I deeply appreciate, and I'm grateful for the support of this wonderful community.

a few words about my person:

I took my very first photos in the 90s with a Primus Super — a simple camera, but the spark was instant. Since then, photography has been a constant companion: three decades with Canon, and today I shoot with Nikon.

My first subjects were trees, paths and shadows in the forest. Funny enough, that hasn’t changed much. Between my pets and the woods around me, I still find new motifs every single day — especially in autumn, when the forest turns into a world of its own.

Fun facts:

• I still remember the sound of winding film better than most 90s songs.

• I can’t walk through a forest without “seeing” frames everywhere.

• My cameras have changed, but my favourite light hasn’t: soft, golden, quiet.

Photography for me is simple: go outside, breathe, look — and let the forest do the rest.

Meine allererste Kamera war eine Primus Super in den 90ern – schlicht, aber sie hat sofort den Funken gezündet. Seitdem begleitet mich die Fotografie durchs Leben: rund 30 Jahre lang mit Canon, heute mit Nikon.

Meine ersten Motive fand ich im Wald: Bäume, Pfade, Lichtflecken. Und eigentlich hat sich daran bis heute nichts geändert. Zwischen meinen Haustieren und den Wäldern um mich herum entdecke ich jeden Tag neue Motive – besonders im Herbst, wenn der Wald seine eigene Magie entfaltet.

Fun Facts:

• Das Geräusch eines Filmtransports erkenne ich schneller als jeden 90er‑Hit.

• Ich kann keinen Wald betreten, ohne überall Bildausschnitte zu sehen.

• Die Kameras haben gewechselt, aber mein Lieblingslicht ist geblieben: weich, golden, still.

Fotografie bedeutet für mich: rausgehen, atmen, schauen – und den Wald den Rest machen lassen.
