ABOUT MY WORK

My main areas of work were primarily architectural photography, cityscapes, corporate reportages, and portrait photography. Since 2020, personal projects have occupied a very important place. My archive includes series on the inner city of Amsterdam, the industrial heritage of the Zaan region, and photos of Lage Zwaluwe, a village on the edge of the Biesbosch.

From January 2001 to January 2021, for the Metro and Tram department of the Municipality of Amsterdam, I covered, among other things, the construction of the North-South Line running straight through Amsterdam and the renovation of the Amstelveen Line.

In 2003, the ammunition factory Eurometaal on the Hembrug site in Zaandam closed its doors, and I documented the developments on this site with my camera. The first part of the photo series was on display at the Zaans Museum from April 2 to September 24, 2006.

After completing my work at the Metro and Tram department of the Municipality of Amsterdam, I make time for my personal projects.

From January 2024, I have been following urban development in the Kogerveld district for the Municipality of Zaanstad.
